Join us at Brookfield Congregational Church at 6pm as we gather for fellowship, food, and fun on the day before Lent begins!
Shrove Tuesday (also called Pancake Day or Mardi Gras) is a Christian tradition of confession, preparation, and celebration before the season of Lent. Historically, people used up rich foods like eggs, butter, and sugar — which is how pancakes became part of the tradition!
This event is free, but our teens will be collecting donations to support their upcoming Mission Trip — every contribution helps make a difference!
Shrove Tuesday is observed across many Christian traditions, especially in Catholic, Anglican/Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, and Orthodox communities.
All are welcome — come hungry and bring a friend!
