Our Spirit Lifter program has been in operation for nearly 10 years now and our list consists of 50 of our old friends as well as new friends with a waiting list in place.  Some are home bound while others may simply be in need of a friendly face, a card or an encouraging word.  Our team goes out on visits currently 7 times a year but we are hoping to increase that number to 8 times a year in 2019.  Presently we visit the Saturday before Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Memorial Day and the 4th of July.  Our dear friend Hazel Blake, who is now with our Lord, gave us the name Spirit Lifters because she felt that was what we did when we visited - we lifted her spirits.  Children 10 years and older are encouraged to help prepare the food items for delivery and we have a team who create the flower arrangements.  Another Spirit Lifter creates the wonderful home made cards.  If you have an interest in this program please speak with Jane Snyder.  You may leave a message through the church office.
